Dear Paid Subscriber
Just to remind you that our fabulous World Menopause Day debate is free for you to join tomorrow, Wednesday October 18th at 6.45pm get your ticket free here on eventbrite using your special paid subscriber password (below the paid content line).
We have a stellar panel: Dr Nighat Arif, one of the country’s best known women’s health specialists; Dr Lucy Ryan, author of Revolting Women: why midlife women are walking out and what to do about it; the mighty Ritula Shah, formerly of the BBC’s World Tonight who left her job earlier this year and has now reinvented; and Rachel Weiss of Scotland’s menopause cafe.
We’ll be talking about why women are quitting in what has been dubbed a second brain drain between 45 and 55 and what employers need to do to hang on to them and to what extent this is about menopause and what is down to other factors. Expect lively debate and some fireworks! It is open to non-subscribers for a small fee, on the same link above and we’ll be making a donation to the Menopause Charity.
Hope to see you there - all the best - Eleanor
