Queenager newsflash! New, cheaper rooms for Noon Purpose & Power Retreat
Come join us at Broughton Sanctuary on May 24-28
Noon Founder Eleanor Mills and Noon Advisory Board member Avivah Wittenberg Cox at our last Noon Retreat at Broughton
Dear Queenagers
I am thrilled to tell you that we are now sold out of all our initial room allocations for the Noon Purpose & Power Retreat at Broughton Hall May 24-28th. BUT I know that for many of you the prices were expensive — staying in the Hall at Broughton is like staying in Downton Abbey or Claridges, a true luxury experience, so I’m afraid it has to be. But the good news is that we have managed to persuade Broughton to open up some of the cottages on the property for our Queenagers so we can offer some more affordable places.
These new spots are NOT in the main hall but are within walking distance of it - and are priced at £1,350 for a single room with shared bathroom. That price includes food, board, all retreat activities and VAT. We think for 5 days in such a wonderful place it is quite the bargain. These are cheaper than ANY of the rooms we initially offered. It is important to us at Noon that we offer an inclusive experience, which is why we are so glad to be able to provide some more affordable places (and show that we appreciate and are listening to your feedback!).
If you’d like to come please email jackie@inherspace.co.uk and she will book you in and send you a payment link. If you want a refresher on quite how fantastic it is going to be then check it out on Noon.
Plus, will AI take over the world?
We are also running a special webinar with two members of our Noon Advisory Board entitled What Queenagers need to know about AI on April 15th. This is FREE to Paid Subscribers (the discount code if you have forgotten it is below the paywall on this email).
There have been some worrying reports recently that AI will particularly take out the kind of administrative roles that are often the preserve of women. I’ve started using AI myself to help me transcribe my tapes when I do interviews and to marshal facts - it can be a great tool. We just need to learn what it can and can’t do. I’m really looking forward to chairing this. Lalita Taylor is the head of the WiStem network (for women in technology) at the BBC and an expert on technical innovation, while our other panellist Kerensa Jennings is also an AI expert and wrote this excellent piece for NOON about what Queenagers need to know which will give you a flavour of what to expect.
Lots of love
Eleanor
