I’ve been getting some emails from some of you about the Noon Book Club. Those of you who have signed up for the books, you should be imminently receiving The Authority Gap by Mary Ann Sieghart, a brilliant exposition on why women’s voices often go unheard. She gets to the bottom of why in a meeting a woman can make a suggestion which goes ignored until a man says exactly the same thing… and many other irritating facts about why women are still not taken as seriously as men.

Mary Ann and I worked together at The Times, she is one of the cleverest women I know! Do join us on this link on October 31st at 12.30pm for what I expect to be a fascinating discussion!
