It is so hard not to get carried away on a roll and realise you are thoroughly exhausted and end up having to take time out, which all of us who are self-employed means no pay. Take care of yourself and pace, pace. Meanwhile, as I think this is SO relevant, and hopefully, inspiring, I wanted to share an article I wrote this week on women (and a couple of men, including my chap) who have started new food businesses post 60. I hope this is acceptable and shared in the spirit of showing what is possible more than blowing my own trumpet. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/food-and-drink/features/over-60-food-business-entrepreneurs/
Oh my GOD I LOVE THIS! So happy i found you! I needed to read this today! Can't wait to read your book! And the clusterf*k of midlife and the validation of all the heartbreak we've been thru! I feel so seen and validated. thank you! wish you had noon circles in California! grateful for your voice!
Hi Eleanor. The Surrey Noon Circle last night was fantastic. Sue was a wonderful host. I have to admit that I was worried that the vibe wouldn't be as inspiring and engaging as the London one but I was soooo wrong. It was such an amazing gaggle of Queenagers who were so open and honest. Needless to say we rather overran the 9pm deadline. I so look forward to the next one and seeing how we can blossom and grow and spread the word. Emma
